Declaration of compliance with REACH obligations according to Art. 33 “Obligation to pass on information on substances in articles” or RoHS conformity according to Directive 2011/65/EU.

TEPROSA GmbH, Paul-Ecke-Str. 6, 39114 Magdeburg, is an industrial company that operates exclusively as a contract manufacturer. The range of services includes laser processing with the following work steps

Laser cutting
laser drilling and
laser engraving

as well as the production of so-called three-dimensional circuit carriers with the manufacturing steps laser direct structuring

Laser direct structuring,
Chemical metallization (copper-nickel-gold, external) and
Assembly with electronic components.

Laser processing and the manufacture of the circuit carriers use both material or blanks provided by the customer and material procured in-house. In the processing of the circuit carriers, the external service relates to the provision of the injection molding base bodies and the chemical metallization.

We are therefore subject to the information obligations to our customers in accordance with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation if a substance of very high concern (SVHC substance) is contained in a mass concentration of more than 0.1 percent in a component supplied by us. (The 0.1 mass percent threshold always refers to the delivered (partial) product, e.g. the finished circuit carrier. Any packaging does not count towards the relevant mass). In our own interest and against the background of high delivery and product safety, we take these information obligations very seriously. We comply with the legal requirements according to Article 33 of the REACH Regulation and RoHS conformity according to Directive 2011/65/EU by the following procedure:

The providers of our blanks as well as the suppliers of our other materials from the EU area are obliged to inform us unsolicited and without delay if the parts or materials supplied by them contain SVHC substances above 0.1 mass percent. If we receive such information from our suppliers, we will inform our customers immediately. In addition, we obtain written assurance from all relevant suppliers that no SVHC substances > 0.1 % are contained in the materials supplied.

We make separate agreements with non-EU suppliers of blanks and materials, as they are not automatically subject to the REACH information requirements. We therefore obtain written assurances from non-EU suppliers that no SVHC substances > 0.1% are contained in the products supplied.

From today’s perspective and against the background of the information provided by our suppliers, it is not to be expected that SVHC substances are contained in our products in a mass concentration above 0.1 percent.
